Komatsu Mining Corp

The Komatsu Mining Corp Sales and Service Technical Centre is the largest building Komatsu owns in Western Canada. It includes an office, parts warehouse and fabrication/maintenance shops.

The Mechanical Shop contains two overhead cranes with 10- and 30-ton hoists on each and the Fabrication Shop has 50- and 100-ton hoists on their two cranes.

B.A.P. did all of the exterior and interior steel stud framing, parapets, plywood and Blueskin vapour barrier, drywall and tape, and ceilings. Working in the mountains in Sparwood was a treat for our crew; we stayed locally while working on that project and looked forward to our “commute” to the job site.
